The castle was built in 1295 by Roger Mortimer, 1st Earl of March as part of King Edward I's chain of fortresses across the north of Wales. It guards the entrance to the Ceiriog Valley. It was the administrative centre for the Marcher Lordship of Chirkland

Oystermouth Castle Mumbles Swansea
A stone castle in Wales, overlooking Swansea Bay on the east side of the Gower Peninsula near the village of Mumbles. On either side of the entrance gate the walls curve inward, showing that at one time there were supposed to be two round towers built into the gatehouse. It is unknown whether these were ever built. Oystermouth Castle will be the location for several battle scenes in a new Medieval film, Ironclad, directed by Bob Hoskins and Richard Attenborough.

Brecon Beacons
The Brecon Beacons (is a mountain range in South Wales. It forms the central section of the Brecon Beacons National Park one of Wales's three National Parks.
The Brecon Beacons range consists of the mountains to the south of Brecon. The highest of these is Pen y Fan (886 m); other notable summits include Corn Du (873 m), Cribyn (795 m), and Fan y Bîg (719 m). These summits form a long ridge which forms a horseshoe around the head of the Taf Fechan river to the south east, with long parallel spurs extending to the north-east. The round of the Taf Fechan skyline forms a popular ridge walk known as the Beacons Horseshoe. Many other fine walks exist in this part of the National Park but the mountains are known for swift changes in weather conditions, even in summer. In winter they can be dangerous.

Raglan Castle is a significant late medieval castle located just north of the village of Raglan in the county of Monmouthshire in south east Wales. Its origins lie in the 12th century but the ruins visible today date from the 15th century and later. It is likely that the early castle followed the motte-and-bailey design of most castles of this period and location and some traces of this early history can still be seen. The peak of the power and splendour of the castle was attained in the 15th century and 16th century, as the Marches fortress of the great family of Herbert. Its ruination came at the end of one of the longest sieges of the English Civil War.

I do not know if these sheep in the videos I took are of Black Welsh mountain sheep bu they may be. The Black Welsh Mountain sheep (Welsh: Defaid Mynydd Duon, pron. [ˈdevаɪd ˈmənɪð ˈdɪɔn]) is a colour type of the Welsh Mountain sheep. It occurs occasionally in flocks of other colours, but is often maintained as a separate strain. Like other Welsh Mountain sheep it is found mainly on the hills in Wales, but is also kept elsewhere.

The Balwen Welsh Mountain sheep is one of a number of varieties of Welsh Mountain sheep, having a distinctive colour pattern of a black body with white extremities. It originates from the Tywi valley in Wales. This breed is raised primarily for meat.
Domestic sheep (Ovis aries) are quadrupedal, ruminant mammals typically kept as livestock. Like all ruminants, sheep are members of the order Artiodactyla, the even-toed ungulates. Although the name "sheep" applies to many species, in everyday usage it almost always refers to Ovis aries. Sheep are most likely descended from the wild mouflon of Europe and Asia. One of the earliest animals to be domesticated for agricultural purposes, sheep are raised for fleece, meat (lamb, hogget or mutton) and milk. A sheep's wool is the most widely used of any animal, and is usually harvested by shearing. Ovine meat is called lamb when from younger animals and mutton when from older ones. Sheep continue to be important for wool and meat today, and are also occasionally raised for pelts, as dairy animals, or as model organisms for science.

Llynnau Mymbyr
Llynnau Mymbyr - North Wales.
This video was taken on March the 5th 2010. It is of the famous Llynnau Mymbyr
Llynnau Mymbyr are two lakes located in Dyffryn Mymbyr, a valley running from the village of Capel Curig, north west Wales. The A4086 runs along their northern banks.
Strictly speaking it is one lake, originally called Llyn Mymbyr, with a maximum depth of 30 feet. About 3/4 mile long in total, a delta has built up midway along the north shore, and this has to all purposes cut the lake in two. The river feeding the lakes is the Nantygwryd (or Nant-y-gwryd), which has its source at Llyn Cwm-y-ffynnon, also marked on maps as the Nant Gwryd, which is a tributary of the Afon Llugwy. The two rivers join in Capel Curig.

Driving through the Conwy Tunnel
Video of driving through the Conwy Tunnel.
Here is a a video of the Conwy Tunnel. I took this video on the 5th of March 2010. It is of driving through the Conwy Tunnel. The tunnel is on the A55. The tunnel is just by Conwy Town.
The crossing of the estuary of the River Conwy is by means of an immersed tube tunnel that was constructed, by a Costain / Tarmac Construction joint venture, as pre-formed concrete sections and then floated into position over a pre-prepared trench in the bed of the estuary. An immersed tube is a kind of underwater tunnel composed of segments, constructed elsewhere and floated to the tunnel site to be sunk into place and then linked together. They are commonly used for road and rail crossings of rivers, estuaries and sea channels / harbours.
The A55, also known as the North Wales Expressway, is a major road in Britain. Its entire length is a dual carriageway primary route, with the exception of the point where it crosses the Britannia Bridge over the Menai Straits. The road originally ran from Chester to Bangor but was extended parallel to the A5 across Anglesey right into Holyhead Docks in 2001.

Marquess of Anglesey Column
The Marquess of Anglesey lost a leg at the battle of Waterloo, and this impressive column was erected in his honour.
The column is just over the Brittania Bridge, it is on the outskirts of famous Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogo-goch. The column was finished two years after the battle of Waterloo, which was fought on the 18th of June 1815. The column is said to be 27 meters high.
Field Marshal Henry William Paget, 1st Marquess of Anglesey KG, GCB, GCH, PC (17 May 1768 – 29 April 1854), styled Lord Paget between 1784 and 1812 and known as The Earl of Uxbridge between 1812 and 1815, was a British military leader and politician, now chiefly remembered for leading the charge of the heavy cavalry against d'Erlon's column during the Battle of Waterloo. He also served twice as Master-General of the Ordnance and twice as Lord Lieutenant of Ireland.
Paget entered parliament in 1790 as member for Carnarvon, a seat he held until 1796, and then represented Milborne Port between 1796 and 1804 and again between 1806 and 1810.
